My story:

Truro and Penwith College suited Amma as she wanted to be able to stay close to home while studying a course she enjoys. She was given a lot of support from her lecturers and this encouraged her to apply to Queen Mary University of London, where she now studies Marketing.

Amma said: “I chose to come to Penwith College because it was close to home. At school, I enjoyed studying a Business and Finance course so I was glad that Penwith offered the subject.

“The Marketing and Finance aspects of the course interested me the most and I plan to carry these interests on to university.

“Being at the College really influenced my decision making for the future. I enjoyed studying Business at Penwith so much that I decided to go to University which I didn’t think I would end up doing.

“Enjoying College and in particular, this Business course, has encouraged me to continue studying.

“The lecturers at Penwith were amazing. They really understood our individual learning styles and supported us accordingly to get the best results out of us.”
