My Story:
Running her own Massage Therapy business Sarah was looking at ways to grow her own knowledge with plans to expand her business. Having previous qualifications in Massage Therapy, and a keen interest in Nutrition, Sarah found the Health and Nutrition degree at Penwith, and the flexibility of the course enabled her to continue working whilst gaining her qualification.
She said: “I have always been interested in nutrition, so was keen to learn more about it.”
“I really enjoyed the practical sessions, like taking blood pressure.”
“I am a self-employed massage therapist and the course fit really well around my work.”
“We got a lot of 1 to 1 support and it was also good to be able to keep in touch with peers and tutors throughout the course using teams.”
“This course has informed my own business as a massage therapist”.
Sarahs steps after graduation are to focus on her business and on continuing to build it putting the knowledge gained during her degree into practice. Her advice for anyone considering following in her footsteps would be “Go for it!”
