What is the Higher Level Skills project?

Higher Level Skills is a project that supports individuals who are looking to enhance their knowledge and develop their careers. We provide a platform for people to explore new education opportunities at a higher level and to enhance the skills needed to work within their current job role.

We offer a range of pre-course activities to help you to make an informed choice about your next steps, including FREE taster sessions and FREE Higher Level Skills Days.

The project is also able to support you when progressing towards a range of University Level qualifications, to help you to remove the barrier between you and your path to a University Level short course or professional qualification at Level 3 or above.

These activities are being delivered through the ESF Widening Participation through Skills Project. This project is receiving £2,942,993.92 million of funding from the European Social Fund (ESF) as part of the 2014-2020 European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme in England. This has now been extended until Dec 2022.
