Subjects studied: Level 3 (Digital) Marketing Assistant Apprenticeship

Former hometown: Bodmin

What’s next: Continue to develop my marketing skills in full-time employment

My story:

One of the highlights working for Cornwall-based electrical wholesaler WISKA UK LTD was a marketing campaign that Chloe created to help the company increase sales across a popular range. The campaign was so successful the company is looking to repeat it in the future and was named, ‘Supplier of the Year’ thanks to Chloe’s marketing work and help promoting the company’s core values and honesty as a business.

Such was the success of Chloe’s Apprenticeship and marketing focus that WISKA UK LTD offered her a full-time job at the end of her course.

Chloe said: “I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do, work or continue to study, so the option of an Apprenticeship appealed to me.

“The Apprenticeship with Truro and Penwith College and WISKA UK LTD offered me the opportunity to learn on the job and study locally. The course provided me with valuable marketing skills required for the job, mixed with a fun-filled college lifestyle.

“I felt supported throughout the course with lots of interaction between the employer and the College and this allowed me to develop modern marketing skills which I could put into action in a real job and see them return exciting results.

“If you’re unsure what you want to do, start work or continue to study, then an Apprenticeship offers the perfect combination. Now I’ve secured a full-time marketing job so I’d say go for it!

“I’m now looking forward to helping the company grow and to continue to achieve success through my marketing campaigns.”
