My story:

With dedication, hard work and a commitment to learning, Elle has not only passed her apprenticeship with flying colours but has secured a quality career with Brooks, a prestigious Senior Partner Practice of the national St. James’s Place Wealth Management plc, a FTSE-100 organisation with over 20 offices across the UK.

Throughout the apprenticeship, Elle demonstrated a strong passion for the financial services industry and a genuine eagerness to expand her knowledge and skills.

Under the mentorship and guidance of experienced professionals at Brooks Financial Planning Ltd, including Operations Manager, Katherine Clotworthy, Elle thrived in her role and made valuable contributions to the company’s operations.

Elle said: “We learnt a wide variety of topics on the Business Administration Apprenticeship and here at Brooks, they have their own online training programmes provided by St James’s Place and it all went hand-in-hand with each other and helped me get a role with Brooks Financial.”

Elle is one of three Business Administrator Level 3 Apprentices at Brooks Financial Planning Ltd to have been offered full-time roles at the company this year, and now looks forward to continuing her journey in the financial services sector.

Elle’s passion for the industry, combined with the knowledge and experience gained during her apprenticeship, positions her to take on new challenges and contribute significantly to the company’s continued success.

Elle’s achievement serves as a strong example of the value of Truro and Penwith College apprenticeship programmes in shaping the future of young professionals and supporting Cornwall’s businesses to grow their own talent.

Truro and Penwith College delivers the Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship at both its Truro and Bodmin campuses with more information available online. For help and advice contact apprenticeships@truro-penwith.ac.uk.
