My story:
Daisy Pullen was going to study subjects related to midwifery but instead decided on the Level 3 in Children’s Play, Learning and Development. She has now been accepted into Norland College, a prestigious and internationally recognised higher education provider based in Bath, and for her it’s a dream come true.
Norland College, which was established in 1892 as the world’s first childcare training provider, has a reputation for providing world-class training and producing some of the most highly sought-after nannies in the world.
Daisy said: “After attending an open event at the College, I discovered the Children’s Play, Learning and Development course and knew it was the perfect choice for me.
“My lecturers were fantastic. They were so supportive and helped me throughout the course.
“My tutor in particular was super helpful in supporting me. It was quite overwhelming as I had been building up to it for so long and they really helped me to stay calm and talked me through everything.
“I really like the mix between the practical and theory elements and that you get to complete a work placement. Getting to apply the theoretical knowledge while completing my work experience was really great and it’s definitely made me feel more prepared for my next steps.”
