My story:
By choosing A Level Law and joining the Law Academy, Freya learnt how court systems and trials work which was her favourite part of the course.
“You pick and learn subjects that you want to specialise in” said Freya. “I like all the freedom you get compared to sixth form.
“When I was in secondary school I couldn’t wait for college. I selected subjects that I wanted to learn, rather than study topics I wasn’t interested in. When it came to studying, the process was a lot easier as I enjoyed what I was learning. It’s hard work but really worth it. The College gives you a great taste of what university life is like.
“If you want a career in law and you’re wanting to be a barrister, civil servant or a magistrate, definitely take A Level Law and be part of the Law Academy. The Academy helps you gain an understanding of what a real court experience is like.”
