From the course

Rosie Rotheram

Rosie studied the YMCA Awards Level 2 Certificate in Gym Instructing on Saturdays at Truro and Penwith College, and said the competition “has been a fantastic opportunity for me”.

“I worked really hard but it wasn't all me; the training I received with Truro College has been fantastic, and the continuing support I receive from the tutors is second to none,” she explained.

“Within eight months I have gone from not really knowing what I'm doing with my life and no career prospects, to being qualified in a specific job, winning competitions in my field and being offered jobs as a fitness instructor. And it's all thanks to Truro College and the opportunities they’ve given me.”
