Job title: Client Services Manager

Company: Paul Morgan and Associates Wealth Management Ltd.

Course: Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship

Laura Morgan, Director of Paul Morgan Associates, praised Katie’s excellence, stating: “Katie showed very quickly why she deserved a future with the company. From Apprentice to a senior member of the leadership team, she quickly became an integral part of our business, providing first class administration and client servicing, as well as having a positive impact on the rest of the team.”

Katie joined Paul Morgan Associates Wealth Management Ltd as an Administrative Apprentice in 2021, quickly securing a permanent, full-time Administrative position in 2022 before a string of promotions saw her reach the role of Client Services Manager in early 2024.

As an alumna, Katie felt it was important to share her experiences of the Apprenticeship Programme at Truro and Penwith College and highlight how it has helped her career progression. Katie and Laura joined forces to enlighten the College’s current cohort of Business Administration Apprentices with their rich finance and apprenticeship insights. They explored all areas of finance in our apprentices’ various industries as well as the ways in which finance relates to their roles.

Katie found the experience immensely fulfilling, expressing: “It is rewarding to be able to interact with students who are doing the same qualification that I did. I am grateful for the opportunity to promote the Apprenticeships at Truro and Penwith College and to inspire the apprentices of this year.”

Laura also praised the support Katie received while on the course: “The support, guidance and experience with them has been brilliant.”

Katie and Laura’s mentorship approach within the workplace and passion for sharing knowledge stood out, illustrating the significance of continuous learning and collaboration.
